ISO 22000 and FSSC 22000 are related requests, and they are different certificates. The application should name the one printed on the certificate you hold.
What is different about this transfer?
The category is part of the scope. A processing certificate is not a packaging certificate, and a category the accepting body is not accredited for cannot be recognized. SMG's IAS accreditation includes ISO 22000:2018 and FSSC 22000 version 6.0, with food categories stated on the accreditation certificate. The review checks your category against that list. The PDF is linked from the SMG page. If the category is outside the list, the offer says the certificate cannot move on this accreditation.
FSSC 22000 also follows the scheme owner's rules for a change of certification body. Those rules sit on top of the ordinary management-system transfer, and the review uses them. The practical effect is that the accepting body has to be accredited for the version and the categories, and the transfer has to be recorded the way the scheme requires.
What should you have ready?
Have the certificate, the categories, the sites, the last certification or recertification report, the latest surveillance report, and any open nonconformities. For FSSC, include the version. Version 6.0 is the version on SMG's accreditation. A certificate still on an older scheme version needs that fact in the application, because the review will not treat it as version 6.
Prerequisite programmes and the hazard plan stay your system. The transfer reads whether they were audited. The plan stays yours. The records to gather are the same set as in documents for a transfer, plus the category and the version.
How do you ask for the quote?
On the application, choose ISO 22000 or FSSC 22000, then Transfer from another body. Name the sites and the food categories in the scope field, using the words on the current certificate. The written offer states the scope, the timing, and the price before a visit is booked.
